xAcars vs. FsAcars

Hello,

Today I just had one flight with the xAcars, before that I used to have the FsAcars. I am quite dissapointed with the xAcars as it has a very minimalistic, even the touch-down rate not loged (least I can not figure it out).
The FsAcars maked logging with much more details, which makes sense in my understanding.

Is there any VA preference or the acars software is up to the pilots?

However there is a current post by Daniel with a problem with xAcars, so both freeware addons seem to have their problems.

Tibor, if FsAcars is working for you, you are free to use it. However, be aware that there are some glitches that have never (and will never) been fixed in FsAcars, especially an annoying time recording bug. For some people it never shows, but if it does, don't be surprised
