Pause in the sim

I want to ask whether or not I can pause the sim and continue after I finish my work and is counted in the pirep. Can I do so?

Of course you can, as long as you don't pause your VATSIM flights

Do you mean to pause during the flight? If yes you should not do this while flying on a network like VATSIM. It is a VATSIM rule that you do not pause the sim while on a network - it looks like a "parked" plane in the air. And as you know VATSIM they are more restrictive as the real world.
