It is a fairly common topic on flight sim related forums this days. I want to say a few words about this, and to share with you(like usualy)some interesting things that i discovered.
possible directions:
1.MS Flight - It look's like MS Flight will be a more about game, and far away from simulation of flight. It's possible that things change over time, but at the moment, we don't have information about this
2.X-plane 10 - it look's very promising, I always liked his fly dynamics. You can find some information/preview here:
I'm realy looking forward about this.
3.Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D - It is FSX, but improved. It is in development still, but look's great. Lockheed Martin has hired some members of the original ACES studio to continue development of the product. They are working now on DirectX11 compatibility. Most of FSX add-ons work's in Prepar3D, NGX has better performace for example.
Some additional informations/reviews:
And now, i have something for you.
You will find here free edition(november/december)of computer pilot magazine: http://www.computerpilot.com/
Inside it, you can read more about this topic, and you can try for free Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D(30-day evaluation license).
Cheers to all!
