We do not allow uploading of images on the Air-Child server, however there are many free image hosting websites. A few of the common ones are:-

Once you have uploaded your image, you need to get the image url from the image hosting website, then you can post it in one of the ways described below.

Simple link to the image.
Code:
[url]http://www.photobucket/my_album/image.jpg[/url]
Example:
http://www.photobucket/my_album/image.jpg

A titled link to the image.
Code:
[url=http://www.photobucket/my_album/image.jpg] ATR at sunset [/url]
Example:

Resize image to max forum width using BBcode.
Code:
[imgr]image_location.jpg[/imgr]
Example:
[imgr]http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa329/andrewwilliams9/Air-Child%20-%20KEEP/Air-Child_bbcode_tutorial.jpg[/imgr]

Note the 'r' in the tag 'imgr' (for resize), This image is actually 1024px wide.

Resize image using BBcode, and clicking photo allows popup fullsize
Code:
[imgpop]image_location.jpg[/imgpop]
Example:
[imgpop]http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa329/andrewwilliams9/Air-Child%20-%20KEEP/Air-Child_bbcode_tutorial.jpg[/imgpop]
Try clicking the above image :)

Note the 'pop' in the tag 'imgpop' (for image popup)

Posting a video from Youtube

Code is simple (code button also on the top bar with other BB codes)
Code:
<i>
</i>[YouTube]video ID string -- the part after v= in the URL[/YouTube]

eg
Code:
<i>
</i>[YouTube]UqRRyegf0ns[/YouTube]

shows as....

[youtube]UqRRyegf0ns[/youtube]

Useful in the gallery for pilots who make videos of their flights, to show them off to others, or maybe just your favourite YouTube clip :)
