Yearly, since 2011, Down The Danube event, has become a tradition on VATSIM & E -EUR Sky, and we are happy to offer you again fully staffed airports Romania in collaboration with ROvACC.

Hello dear virtual aviators,
After five successful years we are happy to welcome you all to this year’s “Down the Danube” – and it’ll be bigger than ever before.
Come and FLY to LROP on the 2nd of april 2016 from 1700z until 2200z; We have over 310 flights to book.
The flights simulate an evening of operations at LROP (Bucharest Otopeni Henri Coanda Airport). Booking one of these slots gives you an extra level of realism, and the controllers will do their best to make sure your flight is on time. That being said though, pilots without booked slots are welcome to join the fun, but may experience some delays or they can divert on request on a nearby airport LRBS (Baneasa). This year includes new controllers, a new staff and more realistic procedures.
