Get ready for one of the biggest VA-Events on VATSIM! The original VA-Meeting will be back at March 3rd, 2012. vACC Switzerland invites all VAs for a trip from/to Zurich. Together with various vACCs, we offer high quality ATC service between the heart of Europe and our partner airports.

All sort of traffic is warmly welcomed, IFR and VFR, Pistons, Props, Jets and Helicopters. We will find for all of you a parking at Switzerland’s busiest airport.
For IFR-flights please use the booking system to reserve your slot.

A special challenge for VAs is to bring as many pilots as possible to Zurich. We will paint one of the aircrafts of next year’s flyer in the colours of your VA! If you are a VA pilot, please ensure that your VA already has been registered in order to assign you correctly and count your flight for your VA.

To make your Air-Child flight count for the VA challenge you need to fill in
the following code in your remarks field:

VAM/EQUEAMN6

This will be my first online meeting !

Question: how do we need to log these flights on the Air-Child pirep ? Do we need to create charterflights with these info and use these flight numbers as callsigns ?

New Slots are available between 18z and 19z.

For the Reporting, i will make a charter Flight and then for the Pirep i use the ACH7XXX Flightnumber, and for Connection to Vatsim i use ACH251 as i have booked in the Slotsystem.

Also Geneva will be staffed and we enjoy any traffic in Geneva.

and here are the results of the Swiss jury (provided by email, 11/03/2012):
During the VA-Meeting 2012, we had about 140 movements in Zurich. 91 of them were fully completed and would count for the VA Challenge. But only 49 pilots used their unique VA code, which was mandatory for the flight to be counted.
