New Aircraft on Lease with Air-Child

Hello Gents,

it is my great pleasure to announce that Air-Child has secured leases on the following Aircraft for our Charter Fleet.
  • 2x Cessna C208B Grand Caravan
    (one stationed at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania and one at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Dehli)
  • 1x Beechcraft 1900D
    (stationed at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Tanzania)

Once the Paperwork has been drafted and signed (expect late next week) we will also lease 2x Cessna 172 Skyhawk, 2x Cessna 185F Skywagon 2x Dornier Do 228 and one Aero Commander 500S Shrike.

These are to be used for Training Purposes and Short Range Operations Transporting UNICEF Ambassadors and/or Official Aid Shipments from the Major Airports to the smaller Airfields unable to accommodate the bigger aircraft types.

Thank you. I think this will make a lot of our pilots very happy. I estimate that half of our long term members fly small and medium planes. So this means we turn away from the "We're not a bush flying VA" rule?

? It's a contemporary plane, a re-manufacture of the DC-3 airframe. Excellent for our relief flights to remote areas but can also be outfitted for comfortable airline duty.

But the main reason is: the free-ware model for FSX that Manfred Jahn made for it.

It's possibly THE best free-ware for FSX.

I also have a nice suggestion for a name; what about Asterix. We have a L100 called Obelix so it would be quite a match. I could also make a repaint for it.

EDIT - I'm doing the repaint right now, F-ASTX, Asterix.
 
I can see the Caravan + Beech1900 in the hangar but not in charter. The 1900 is booked already so it must be visible to some.
 
Should be fixed now ... Advanced and Professionals Career Mode Pilots ... had to fix the career-check function to include the A/C
