Hello,

I just joined air-Child and I can not configure Xacars to air-Child. I'm working with a MAC and using X-plane 10.

I downloaded xacars and also the config but no connection to air-child. In xacars preferences does not show up anything.

A reply will be highly appreciated.

Hello Pedro, and welcome aboard! I don't know if the procedure with the .ini file, as described in our manual, is different on the Mac, but you can always fill in the options manually.

Click "XAcars preferences" and fill in these URL's:

ACARS Server URL = http://www.air-child.com/pirep/xacars/liveacars.php
PIREP Server URL = http://www.air-child.com/pirep/xacars/pirep.php
FlightInfo Server URL = http://www.air-child.com/pirep/xacars/flightdata.php

Type your Pilot ID to the user field and your Air-Child password to the password field.
For "time interval" set 1 or 2 (minutes)
Make sure the checkboxes to Enable LiveACARS and Enable PIREP are checked.
Press Save & Exit, and you're done.
