Booked aircraft Pinocchio

Hello all,

The other day I was flying happily about with our erj-190 'Pinocchio', doing some nice scheduled flights.
I then logged off at LIEE.
The next day I was going to take Pinocchio for another flight, but it was booked. Alright, no problem, that can happen.
Though I can't fly it yet, it is in the booked status for 24 hours now, and it still is residing at LIEE. I.e. Pinocchio hasn't been flown the last 24 hours, and now I'm taking a charter 190 instead.

Is there some way to unbook Pinocchio, so other pilots can fly the bird?
Once again: I don't mind if an airplane is booked, but if it doesn't get flown then I don't see the point of booking it.

Thanks in advance!

As I remember, the booking system is set this way. If you book plane you have 72 hours to make a booked flight, before the plane will be availble for another pilot. If I'm wrong please correct me.

Rafal is right. Workaround: you can temporarily switch your profile to basic career. In that mode you are able to book & fly the aircraft, if it's not for the exact same flight.
