Twin Otter added to the Hangar

We have added 4 DHC-6 300 to the fleet. Please search for:

CF-SAR, (Sally Armstrong)

G-CAMC (Catherine McKinnon)

CC-CDI (Charlotte Diamond)

B-AMSK (Amy Sky)

Now that I know that Aerosoft offers a Twotter (and they are currently working on a new one) I might get one of these, together with the Lukla scenery, and crash some more. Why give up good old habits?! :D
 
I've found some X-Plane .acf's for this bird at http://aeropedro.despair.ch/Aeropedro/DHC.html, but you must convert them to 9.70 first. Then they are usable for XP9 and XP10. The ACH-liveries must be made, anyone? I do not see any livery in the ACH-hangar for FS2004 or FSX neither.
Norbert, many thanks for this little bird. I've already try it in the Araucanía (from Puerto Montt to Temuco, SCTE-SCTC, with X-Plane 9.70, and it works fine. I'll try it now with X-Plane 10... :wink:

Edit 2 may: The Twin Otter from AeroPedro doesn't work good enough with X-Plane 10.05r1. I've got the DHC6-300 from

, made by X-Hangar, and it works fine with XP10 (it's payware but it works). Tested on a trip from Temuco to Concepción, SCTC-SCIE. I'll try to make a simple ACH-livery for this bird.

Hey, this is really a wonderful news for a propellers addicted like me :rofl:
There is only a small problem... how can I fly with one of those birds? My old FS9 doesn't have the DHC-6 300 in its list... is it possible to download it for free or it is payware? Of course then we wait for our livery... and PLIIIIIIZZZZZ put two more of those birds in the Mediterranean region, or I'll have to spend my summer vacation flying one from South America... ;)

Aahhh... I see... not sure if that model works only with FS2004, nevertheless that website is impressive. Thanks for sharing.

The ACH-livery for our new DHC6-300 Twin Otter is ready (simple version for the .acf made by X-Hangar). It's made for X-Plane and it's tested with versions 9.70 and 10.05r1.
This bird is been used in our SCEL-hub (Santiago de Chile). That's why it has the registration CC-CDI.

On a side note, I'd like to get the Lago DHC-6 Twin Otter but unfortunately that software company does not exist anymore and the copies I could find in some websites do not launch on my computer... :( Does anybody have any idea how could we get access to that aircraft? It looks like it was one of the best ever produced for this bird... thanks!

Actually, I have no idea if you CAN do that. I only use X-Plane as FS and I only use MacOS X (this means I never use software from Microsoft). Anyway, the livery for this DHC6 from X-Plane is only a PNG-file. If you can use it (with Photoshop or something like that) I think you can then take the needed parts to build a new livery for FS2004 or another FS. You MAY use everything from this PNG-file.

Hello Giuseppe I've found this birdie on torrents, but before I'm going to download it, I want to know one thing. What is the status of this software? I mean is it abandonware or what, because I do not support piracy.
