Aircraft scheduled routes overview

Hey,

I'm looking to fly multi segment flights with the same aircraft (in particular the 737-800 NGX).

I was searching on the website the possibility to see the schedule for a given aircraft registration code, but if I'm not mistaken we can only see the routes departing from the current location of the aircraft.

So for instance, I'd like to fly EDDK - XXXX and then XXXX - YYYY and then YYYY - XXXX back on the same day to simulate a real captains working day for instance, and trying to adhere to the exact schedule timing.

But I think it is not possible to find that out right now, correct ?

Could such a possibility be added ?

Hi,

If you go to the dispatch centre -> flight search
here you can search by registration number which will list you the full schedule of the specific plane.
Also if you click on the bottom of the blue search box or right bottom corner then you can specify your search more precisely or do a combined search.
I think with this you should be ablo to do your daily shift :)

Quickly switch you profile career to 'Basic' mode, then you can see all of the flights for an aircraft reg, not just the flights from where it is parked.

I only just realised that it makes no sense at all to restrict a single aircraft's schedule to only bookable flights. So I just changed this. Now, when you're in advanced mode and select by registration, you can see all the flights in the schedule but you can still only book the ones departing from where the plane is parked. Hope it works as intended.

Indeed this works in basic mode, but as I switch back to Advance mode, the other flights are not visible anymore so I think your change is not quite working yet. Would be great if it would though !

edit: tested a bit more, it DOES work in advance mode, but only if you select the aircraft registration only, and not in combination with any other criteria.

Maybe a good idea would be to add a checkbox to the criteria called "Show flights from current aircraft position only" or so, and so this would be mode-independent...

That's right. If you use combined search criteria, the sorting of flights is different, anyway. You will only see the time table order by selecting a single aircraft.

I will think about it. However, in that case it might be the better way to switch to basic mode.
Even in basic mode you can "discipline" yourself to only book the "realistic" flights.

As a general note: the handling of basic and advanced careers is still not finished and will change in the future. With the extension of the VA system we will implement more features for both careers.
