"Extreme South"... it's WINTER now !!!

Today a I took my DHC6 from SCTE (Puerto Montt) to SCON (Quellón) and then from Quellón to SCAS (Puerto Aysén).The weather was typical for this time of the year (I was using "real weather from the net"), rain, fog, ice, wind. It was so scary, specially because my route must go between mountains. You'll see...

The standard airports/airfields in X-Plane have no buildings, only the runway and a taxiway. SCON Quellón is a good example. I must make this airport.

The kist was a little weird... Ice in the props !!! I got a message with a warning (when the temperature goes between 0 and -20 degrees you must de-ice, otherway you have a big problem). I had a big problem, thus... I could handle it. I was not in the mountains yet but on the sea :rofl:

The mountains higher than 5000 ft have already very much ice ("las nieves eternas").

I must find a way to runway. There is no ILS, just clouds and fog. Shall I go?
Between the mountains I must first go to the left, and later to the right...

Anyway, this airfield (SCAS Puerto Aysén) needs also some buildings and the correct layout for the runway and taxiways.

Yes, Frederic,
This DHC6-300 from X-Hangar works very fine with XP10. It's also very simple to handle it
