Another repaint for POSKY ready...

Hi all, I made another repaint. The Boeing 737-800WL from POSKY this time:

Luckily the engine and push truck textures from the 73G fit this one as well. I think the 737-900 paintkit isn't that different. I'll have a look at it later on...

I hope this one gets a place in the Air-Child hanger as well.

I've had an idea for another POSKY repaint for several days now. :idea: An air ambulance livery for the 737 BBJ. Every children's hospital should have one. Although it's not officially in the fleet it looks, flies and operates almost the same as a 737-700. The only real difference would be the number of passengers; an air ambulance isn't crammed with passengers of course. If people here would like to fly it I'll get started tomorrow.

Does it have a paintkit? I would have to learn it first. Because it's a very big plane it would be a lot of work. I might have a look at it later on. Would a POSKY 747-400 also work for you?

No, this doesn't work. I tried this technique on smaller planes but you get into trouble with unmatched seams. When you work with a paintkit and layers you can work with the same underground for left and right. When you stick textures from another plane on it this doesn't work most of the time. I would have to draw the cheatlines anew because the Air-Child paintkit is only big enough for a 737.
 
When I got inspiration I can't stop until it's finished. :phew: The Air-Child Boeing BBJ air ambulance:

I also tried it with big logos+text on the side but then it looks like a commercial aircraft; it has to look like a serious ambulance. The air-child text is on the engines, the "we fly for UNICEF" on the cockpit, where normally texts like "de Vliegende Hollander" :) go. The doors all have the puppets logo.

It only got 1 window(in the door) per side because patients and paramedics like privacy and have no time to look outside. I also had to change the lightmaps for this.

Fuselage, wings and winglets have a blueish colour. The fuselage a gradient and shadows. Red crosses on fuse, tail and wings.

I hope you like it, I'll have a lot of fun with it myself. If it gets a place in the hangar or people want to download it individually just let me know.

Sorry for such delay in answer, but I'm on vacation. This aircraft has paintkit. i have it at home so if you can wait till monday I'll send it to you just drop me your email on PM. I would prefer Ifly cause this one is free, and as say it fly almost like PMDG. I'll try to find it and give you a link. I didn't use 747 from posky. Is there a good panel for it?

If you like the iFly 2d panel, the first thing I would do is alias the panel for POSKY to the iFly panel folder and try if that works. Of course there are also many good panels for it on Flightsim.com etc. Or make your own, it's not that difficult.

If you like the FDE from iFly that much, just try if it will merge with POSKY's model; use it's airfile and aircraft.cfg and see what it does. Only for personal use of course.
