How to make xAcars work?

Hi guys!

Could anyone give me step-by-step instruction how to fill out boxes in xacars to make it work? Or can anyone poest a screen shot with his xacars tuned properly?
My problem is that I don't understand anything:(

Hello Vitaly, on the Air Child web site under documents, click on the pilots manual. I believe page 19 has what you are asking for. If not, post back. Cheers
 
If you already have xacars set up all you need to fill out is the flt number and press the button to get the data. The info will be retrieved automatically . Then press the start ACARS button before you start your engines

I have just checked it. Unfortunately p. 19 has info for xAcars wich works with MS filght sim and my problem is I neef to set up xAcars plug-in for X-plane. It looks totally different.
Could you please help me to set it up?

Ok,look in this forum under x plane chat for the post XAcars error.Help me! There's a screen shot there that should help you. Don't forget to read the post. Other than that we may have to wait for the xplane users to answer. I'll keep researching in the meantime.
 
In your X-Plane map you see the map "Resources" - "plugins". There you see the plugin "XACARS.xpl" and a map "XAcars". In the map "XAcars" you must have the config file (from your ACH-profile, Personal Files) "xacars.ini" (this one has all information you need, don't change it!). In the map "XAcars" you can eventually see another file "XACARS.log".
That's all you need, and it must work.
Next step is to activate XAcars when you are going to fly, and at the end when you must send the PIREP to the ACH-server. But let's go step by step, is your XAcars-configuration OK? Which OS are you using?

Crap! It seems like it does not work :(((
It asks for ACARS server URL and ACARS PIREP URL:(
Could you explane me where I can get them?

Did you get that "xacars.ini" from Air-Child? Did you put it in your "XAcars" map?
Then let's see the screen you get when you start XAcars.

Yep, I got config from my profile page...But I am not sure if I out it in the right place. I gonna check this out and will reply. Vrey sorry about being such a dummie:(

Put it into:
XP - Ressources - Plugins
That should work if you installed XARCARS correctly, which is quite easy and well explained. There are some files which have to go to the Main XPlane folder ( BASEDIRECTORY) and some files have to go to the plugin folder. Ithink if you got the config file from ACH and you put it into the plugin folder you will overrite the default config.
