Radar contact?

Anyone use radar contact? What's out there besides the default fsx ATC?
Yep I already know if you want good ATC fly on vatsim :) . Sometimes comtrollers are unavailable on your route.

I'm using Radar contact since 3 or 4 years now and I like it. But I don't use it very often, because -as you have said- it's much more funny and realistic to fly on VATSIM. But sometimes I have to work in the evening or at the weekend, but have time to fly a short one in the morning. Then it's fine.

I also like the way Radar Contact manages the AI-Traffic. The 'controllers' are not only speaking with you. They also observe and guide the AI traffic and you will here the controllers speaking to the AI-Traffic.

Tip: Because you can't find Air-Child in the airline list, I'm using AIR-CHINA as callsign. It sounds most similar like Air-Child ;)
 
Thanks guys. Think I'll give it a go.listened to the vox video and it sounds too much like a computer voice. Add ons I regularly use are pmdg ngx,fs2crew,and FsKeepers . Have onboard FsPassengers,fscaptain,Multicrew experience (you can talk to the default ATC with this).wouldnt it be nice if a developer could come up with an all in one program that would use the best features of the above programs.
 
Well,purchased RC! My sim is now good to go! Radar contact works well with ngx,Rex ,fs2crew,fsflight keeper, and multi crew. Was a little disappointed at first because the voices sounded a bit robotic. Seemed to sound normal after a couple of flights. How it sounds may depend on which voice is being used at the time. I think it is 100 percent better than the default ATC . Very happy with it. It's worth checking out if you don't have it.
 
I like it very much and if I'm not on VATSIM then I Will always use it it's Nice because it will allow you to fly SID/STAR but not assign one to tour flight... Fsx ATC don't allow it...
