Hello All

as said today i'am writting a Script for the next Airports here the Results for Airports that fit for a B737 (rw longer then 1800m and distance to LEAM shorter then 2500nm) i will later on take some airports as Proposals from this list. Feel free to do the same :)

Thank you André for the nice selection and especially for your work with that script which seems to be very useful!

Norbert and I discussed yesterday that it would be nice to take our monthly group flights in a certain direction, maybe, instead of flying only in Europe. The thought was to see some interesting places of the world where we usually don't go - or not that often. One example: if we headed for Africa now, we could continue to the Canary Islands and in one longer leg to South America and explore some destinations on the American continent. Another option was to go north, via Iceland and/or Greenland and continue to Canada. Or we try to go east, direction Asia. You get the picture...
However, with this idea we'd probably have to give up our system of using the last letter for the next destination. It wouldn't work. Anyway, we thought this could make for some new experiences with new and interesting destinations. What do you people think of it? Open for discussion ....
 
Hi Peter , yeah I had a similar thought like moving by countries with the same system we have been doing so far ,by using letter from airport we land on to find country we going to be flying from . Then just choose departure and destination with pehaps some statisticks from vatsim like the most flying routes in that country . Just to have more chances to get busy on traffic and atc. However some countries would be always quiet. Moreover, the time we fly would have to be probaly change to suit the place we going to fly . Well I think that is the issue as it might decrese the airchild pilots to available to fly at that time?
I realy like your idea to be able to move from europe to try other places, but truly Europe is probably best chance to have ATC unless the departure time is much different to in Europe . Perhaps others might have better solution or idea . best regards Petr :idea: :yes:
