Dear pilots,
I cannot figure out how to change the destination in the NGX CDU when I am inflight. Yesterday was the LSZH VA event. My programmed destination was LSZH my alternate EDDS. Cause the sky was so crowded swiss radar did send me to Geneva instead to my programmed destination. They asked me ti direct to ULMES and then the ULMES 1N arrival. There I was lost with the CDU. I could not find how to change the new destination and how to insert the arrival. The only way I could manage it was to insert waypoint by waypoint of the arrival route. Is there no better way to change the destination and then to insert an arrival route via the DEP/ARR page. What is the right way to do this?
Cheers Tom

Tom from top of my head you have to press "RTE" then" PREV PAGE" and that should get you back where you select departure airport and arrival . When you change arrival you can then go to " DEP ARR " page . to select stars or sids . Hope that work I have done it couple of times on PMDG 747 and I think the logic would be same for 737 as it is Boeing . Petr
