May i jump in here...
1.) Me, the newbie (limited to ATR-72 or Dash 7 in advanced career),I'd like to offer bringing up a repaint of the (Milton's) Dash 7 for FSX (sure, ther's some personal interest in it...
). At the moment i have no clue how to do this, but our repaint section says something about a 'tutorial in preparation'. Can you tell me, who's in charge there?
----
If you send me the following files I can put it on the repaint site - if we have still space
a) zip and rar file with the texture less then 60MB
b) a readme how to install the texture in the plane and make it to work
c) a pic in 270x150pixel plane at a gate of your choice
d) the exact name of the plane / version / model manufacturer / FS version
----
2.) Again newbie matter: The ACH documents section offers :goodjob:
superb tutorials, but what i miss a little IMHO is concentrated information on how to fly that i.e. Dash 7... Sure, ther's much information to gather in reading xxxxthousand of forums, but they often differ or are outdated. Wouldn't it be an idea to collect - especially for the newbies - this data, combine all our knowledge, put it in a document like the ACH tutorials, add i.e. links to freeware downloads of aircrafts... so as a result there is one package (aircraft, checklists, repaint, flight manual) for at least 2 or 3 aircrafts...

I am sure it is better to leave this to other well known forums, cause it is a lot of work and research to do it. For the Concorde you will find a lot of help on the Air-Child Supersonic site - made by Pierre Chassang.
The forum and the whole Air-Child VA is made from simmers for simmers - that means that everything is in the hand of the pilots of Air-Child. If someone want to make handbooks, flight bags or manuals for special planes, flights or airports we will be happy to put it on the website. But there is no way that the stuff can do it and this is not the idea of this VA. So Richard if you want to have a manual to fly your wanted plane - do the research, try it and write a manual which works for new pilots - as I said we are happy to publish it on our Air-Child website.
And Richard if you have such a out of topic question I think it is better to open a new topic in the right section - cause this topic is only an announcement for new textures and will not be followed.
Cheers Tom

I'm not just asking for these things, i'd like to account for it, too.
Idea? (if not, no harm done)
Have a good one!
