Yeah, maybe the 757 is just a little bit too heavy to operate fully laden from London's answer to Kai Tak (God rest it).

Unfortunately this happens in real-life as well. In an incident at ESNZ (Östersund, Sweden), a MD-83 charter flight to LTAI (Antalya, Turkey) started at runway 30 (METAR 1950 13006 CAVOK 09/04 QNH 1005 hPa; METAR 2020 13008 CAVOK 09/05 QNH 1004 hPa) - overweight, tailwind condition, so the approach lights were hit as far as 87m beyond the threshold. Unfortunately the report is in Swedish, but the graphs and fotos can be understood by everyone.
