Can I fly DC-9 on MD 80 route or it's more a F100 ?
I know it's not an RNAV aircraft but we can use vasfmc, GPS etc.
MTOW
DC-9 110.000 lbs
F100 100.990 lbs
MD-82 149,500 lbs

Hi Fabrizio,
just take the plane what suits you best. There is no control function at all. But surely the fuel planning have you to do by yourself. If you fly online, you have to change the aircraft icao code on the VATSIM Flight Plan Management for this flight.

Perfect
Thank you

Even the route or the kind of navigation is up to you - if you fly a RNAV, GPS, VOR, NDB or visual Navigation - it is up to the Pilot. Best for this is the charter option in the Dispatch Centre.
For very good Dispatch Calculation have a look at

The only obstacle is vatsim, as the majority of ATC doesn't like VOR to VOR navigation but putting the right remark helps.
Yes I will use charter flight are more flexible.
Fortunately the DC-9 is an old addon, I remember that flightone did it back in 2005, it's easy to find fuel calculation tool, you have also many tool with the coolsky version which is great.
