WORLDFLIGHT 2013 NOVEMBER 3RD 2200z
10 full cockpit simulators will fly together around the world visiting 45 airports and covering 40,000 nautical miles. With VATSIM pilots joining in on these legs we can see up to 50-60 aircraft all along the same airway going to the same destination making the ATC work hard to accommodate them all.
Starting in Sydney Australia [YSSY] the WFG will travel westwards to Perth and then northbound to Jakarta, Brunei and Singapore. Other countries on the route are Africa, several countries in Europe with Canada and the USA getting a visit. South America will see us on the way home and then we cross the Pacific Ocean and return home via New Zealand finishing in Sydney on Sunday November 10th.
With our arrangements with VATSIM we can assure you of full coverage by ATC along the way. Where there are no local controllers available due to the time of passing their FIR then our fully approved WF ATC will provide the coverage.
