ACH-FSE: Getting own aircraft

Hello

every month FSE is publishing a newspaper with some statistic information and other articles.

All the FSE Reporter, who wrote an article for these newspaper, will get paid paid for it (5000v$). Further information can be found here: .

You can also find adverts in this newspaper. Some people offer financing services to get your own airplane - but you have to compare different offers, there are some guys wanting 40Percent interest for their service (I tapped into one of those trap :)) paying 6 times 35982 v$ for a loan of 192800 v$ for my Cessna 185...

But it is easy to these amounts paid - one flight of 5 pax are an income of about 4500v$, the costs of the fuel are not that high, the flight just take 45minutes - so you earn at least 4000 each turn....

After I have fulfilled my current contract, I am going to look for another plane at South America...

But my favourite planes are really expensive (the Beech1900C is up to 1.200.000) like the DHC6 or the Dash7 (3.500.000) - we will see....

Current I'm on a flight around Quito - 3 LEGS with a total income of 19000, after renting the plane we collect about 10000 v$ profit....

Re: Getting own aircraft

As I wrote to Remen in private message I got about 70000 $ of free money in FSE so maybe we start to collect money to buy dhc 6 & dhc 7. As you know you can pay the money for group and also make flights for group.

Greetings

Re: Getting own aircraft

For that case, Remen must give us STAFF Status, so everybody sees, how much is on our account.... and we are able to collect assignments for the group....

I current have just 65000 and I need every Dollah for my loan for the new aircraft I bought...

After I have paid my loan, I can spend my money to buy a new aircraft....

Re: Getting own aircraft

Hello I have found the following thread:
http://www.fseforums.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=94206&posts=12&start=1

There we can try to buy our first own aircraft - without interest or other additional costs - all we need is a down payment of 1/6 of the total value....

I am going to buy a Quest Kodiak tonight. It is located in Florida:

Total Costs about 514000
Down payment about 86000
Duration 180 days, I can pay the remaining amount on my own pace, but I have to pay at least 50% of the total sum to avoid a so called mid-point-fee, which is 2,63percent of the gross.....

If I have paid 50% or more than these mid-point-fee will not be apply.... Sounds fair for me....

Regards

Oliver

Re: Getting own aircraft

Oliver,

Like in real world, I only buy something when I have the money.
Let's fly and make money with ACH-FSE until we have enough to buy the aircraft(s) we want.

Ok, we do it that way.... I have paid the down payment for my Kodiak - so I have to do lot of flight for my own business as long as I have paid back the full loan.... I will try to transfer money as much as I can....

Which aircraft would you prefer? I think, the Twotter will be a good one, but there are two different Twotters in the game (one is the extended Twotter from Aerosoft).

So I cannot use this kind of Twotter without modifying my Aircraft.CFG.......

The best way to find a suitable aircraft ist to ask the members, what kind of airplanes they own in there Simulation - Maybe we all like one special plane, that could fit to us best....

I like the
  • Cessna 206 Stationair (5 Pax)
  • Cessna 185 (5 Pax)
  • Dornier DO27 (3 Pax)
  • Beechcraft 1900C (19 Pax)
  • Cessna 208 Grand Caravan
  • Piper SuperCub (2 Pax)

The Piper SuperCub isn't good for business, because it will just carry up to 2 Passengers. And you cannot fly as high, as it is necessary in Ecuador, because it hasn't a pressurized cabin....

But for some little hops in Oregon it is good enough...

I have transferred the Dornier and the Piper to AirChild and thy can be found in our Aircraft Section...

I was wondering how I can make the Beech Baron I own available to the airchild group.
Thanks in advance, David.

The FSEconomy Guide says:
Transfer your aircraft to someone else

If you would like to transfer your aircraft to another player, or to a group, simply click on the "Transfer" link for the appropriate aircraft. You'll be brought to a page that lists the make, model, and registration number of the plane that you are about to transfer. Use this information to make sure that you did not click on the wrong link if you own more than one plane. On this page is a drop down list of all players and groups; simply choose the appropriate name from the list, and click the "Transfer Aircraft" button.

Well, well... My mother told me years ago: "for everything there is a first time"...

To use the Beechcraft Baron 58 David made available for us I've started the shipping procedure.
This aircraft has got a new registration ("CC-BEC") and a new home (SCIE).
The packing will take 48 hours from now (02 dec 2013, 01:30z).
Then it must be transported as an assigment to SCIE or SCEL, and it must be unpacked there (another 48 hours).
After that it can be rented for $0 by every Air Child pilot.
Actually, I've paid for this shipping, because we do not have any FBO at SCIE or SCEL yet...

I am thinking now... maybe it was a better way to flight this bird to SCEL. Next time?
[imgpop]http://www.remen.nl/ACH/ACH-FSEshippingCCBEC.jpg[/imgpop]

Does any of our pilots have experience with FBO's?
I think it's a good idea to have an expert FBO's in our staff. Volunteers?
The first work assignment will be: a FBO in SCEL.

 Thanks very much again, David

Ricardo,

It would have been better to allow our pilots to bring the bird back home. I think it would have been quicker and also cheaper as we would have made some extra money taking up assignments along the way. Next time you can simply advertise here a plane transfer and see what response you get. I'm sure there are pilots amongst us who enjoy this sort of jobs in FSE (myself included) ;)
As for FBOs, I used to own a few and would be happy to help creating our own network.

Cheers,
Ralf

Hey,

Just checking to see if our Baron has arrived yet, and see that it is crated. I looked at the price for the move and on my screen the pay for moving it is $0.

Is it just $0 for me because I am part of Air-child? or is there some error and it is $0 payment for everyone? which if that is the case, no-one is going to fly it 4000 miles for no pay.

If it is possible to uncrate it rather than wait for it being shipped, then I will help in the flying home of it :)

Cheers

Hm, hm... we (ACH pilots) receive no pay for bringing this new bird home (I suppose).
Other pilots can be payed by Air Child...
One of these birds can be used:
[imgpop]http://www.remen.nl/ACH/ACH-FSEcarriers.jpg[/imgpop]
Volunteers? Let it know before saturday 7 dec, 18:00z.

PS.- It can't be uncrated anymore and... I was it forgotten (my excuses).

I only have the ATR out of them, the nearest being 300nm away, and costing $3000 per hour to fly. That is going to end up rather expensive

Each assignment can be edited and an amount you want to pay for shipments can be added on. This shipment has got nil payment. If there's a pay it won't matter who takes it, they will be paid for it. If they fly for the Group, they will get a percentage of the pay and the group will cover the fuel/rent costs. Because of the distance it might be a better option to advertise it in the . Also, there are FSE companies that specialise in this sort of services. I think I've recently seen someone advertising shipping services with a flat rate of v$6 per mile. Here's the
There's also a company that does ferry services and shares profits made along the way -

Ralf

Back to the original thread of this topic. Right, quite accidentally, I've managed to secure a very decent lease-to-buy deal on an ATR7 located in Europe. The lease is v$100k a month and I will cover it myself. I also get a discount on all maintenance. Currently, I'm not renting her out but if there are ACH FSE pilots interested in flying her for the Group I will make her available. I will reimburse the full rent received from ACH FSE in relation to our pilots operating the plane for the Group. Just let me know if you're interested. The plane can easily make v$100-150k a DAY! ;)

Cheers,
Ralf

Re: ACH-FSE: Getting own aircraft (C172)

---

There is a new aircraft available in our SCEL-hub: a Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
I've bought it in the USA and I've flied it to Santiago de Chile.
It's ready to be used..., I've leased it to Air Child (the price: $0.00/hour).
I've tested it with Carenado's C172N Skyhawk II for X-Plane and with the standard Cessna 172SP from X-Plane 10.25. They work fine.

Some screenshots:

and for the ACH-pilots using X-Plane 10.x, this beauty:

[imgpop]http://www.remen.nl/ACH/C172SPwp2.jpg[/imgpop]

with this beauty I've made a flight SCEL-SAMM-SCEL, over the Andes.
It was a little dangerous because the Maximum Operating Altitude of this bird is 14.000 ft.

Enjoy it !!! Merry Christmas !!!

PS.- It's not a money maker, but it's fine learning to fly.

Re: ACH-FSE: Getting own aircraft (Cessna 208 Caravan)

---

I just want to tell you we could "buy" a Cessna 208 Caravan at the .

The price at this moment is $ 709.000 (29 Dec, 2013 12:59).
I think we could get it for $ 750k or less). It's just... we do not have that money... :'(
But... who knows? Maybe we can collect enough money with all ACH-FSE pilots.

Let's see:
Air Child has $ 190.000
I have $ 75.000

Any other ACH-FSE pilot who can help?
Let us know, even if you can't help us.

Thanks anyway.

:fly:

EDIT (30 Dec, 2013 13:40z): This auction is over. Cessna 208 Caravan is sold for "709k". Maybe next time?
