Hi,

Is anything being arranged for the CTP event? Routes in the databas etc?

Thanks in advance

Liam

Hi Liam, and Welcome to Air-Child!

First, because not everyone might know what the CTP is, here's some more info on that event: http://forums.vatsim.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=42955

Now, to answer your question: since neither of the departure airports (CYYZ,KBOS,KORD,KPHL) or the destinations (EDDF,EDDM) are Air-Child Hubs (the soon to be opened USA hub, KJFK, has recently been voted for), we will probably not have any scheduled routes for these connections - except currently one route between Toronto and Munich for the 763.
Anyway, there's still the option to use charter planes for the event. In the (not so likely) case that so many people will join the event that we would be running out of available charter planes, we can still add a few additional planes very fast.
For the route planning we can publish recommended trunc routes for all connections (NAT tracks will have to be planned individually). However, I think that there will also be route proposals, links for charts and so on, published by Vatsim. Following the post above: "as always a full pilot briefing, along with hints and tips, will be available on the event website".

Hope this answers your question.

Liam,

easy you sub-charter a CLX plane and fly either from
KATL, KIAH, KJFK, KORD, CYYZ, KMEX to ELLX and avoid all the "mayham" east of ELLX :p :p :p    ...
