Re: ACH-FSE: tips (leasing aircrafts)
After flying and experimenting a lot with the FSE world, I have an important tip about making money when you are building your regional network and/or FBO's.
Try to fly with Air Child aircrafts (they are gratis for you) or with your own aircrafts.
If you do not have enough money to buy your own aircrafts, try to lease at least one good bird, like a
,
,
or
.
As an example: on April 9 I've leased an Embraer ERJ-135LR (I couldn't get an Embraer ERJ-145LR nor a Boeing 377). Leasing is a long term rent contract. In my case this lease contract is from April 9 till May 9. I pay $125,000 per month. A normal rent price for such a bird is about $6,000 per hour. I normally do 3 flights a day, this means 3 x 2 hours x $6,000 = $36,000. This means, leasing this aircraft I can use it 30 days, while if I rent it I can use it about 3,5 days. I pay the leasing, maintenance costs, etc., but it's booked as leased by Air Child.

I've flied the leased ERJ-135LR from Venezuela to SCTB in Santiago de Chile. I am just landed at his new home. It wasn't easy, because some airports I needed did not exist in X-Plane nor in our Air Child databases (like SA46 Fiambalá in Argentina, I had to build this airport before I could go on...). In other cases I must search an alternative and longer route.. But it's now ready to be used at SCTB...
In almost 4 days flying with it, not using optimal routes nor big assignments, I've collected almost $100,000 after paying all costs. I think that it's possible to make $125,000 in 5 days, of saying it in other way, I can easily pay the one month leasing contract flying only 5 days, the rest can be saved to buy a new plane.
