Which Continent do we explore in the 2014 Tour?

Hello Air-Child pilots,
soon the World Tour 2013/14 come to the end. It is only a few weeks to the last destination airport EDDK.
What tour shall we do this year? I thought about a tour with smaller planes like ATR72, B737, Twin Otter, Dash etc. Of course the legs should be shorter as the have been in the world tour. What do you think about a Continent tour like Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Africa, Oceania? As the pilots of the last world tour liked to fly online on VATSIM we should find out which continent can suite us all - but this is not possible as we already know from the world tour. :D Best would be continent specific tours. Maybe in future, but for now I like to create a one continent tour (of course with the direct neighbours like north africa if Europe would be the choice). I myself as FSX pilot like to fly to custom airports which give me the fun of a beautiful approach. But this is only my idea.
If you find a continent tour is a good idea I will create a poll to find out which one will be the first choice. If we know which continent we should build a route together.
What do you think?

Hello Tom, a continental tour is a good idea 8) . Might get a little more participation. I would vote for Europe. Most of our guys are European, and probably would rather play in their own back yard :p . Have better chance of having ATC in Europe anyway. Some shorter flights geared for the smaller ACFT would be great. We could do another world tour later. I don't think there's much we can do to attract more pilots. They will show up eventually.
 
I personally voted for Europe but would love to explore MIDDLE EAST. I am looking forward to being part of it. First timer, eh….

Middle East in itself has possibly too few airports to fly 52 legs :) But if there was a Europe + Middle East option, I would definitely vote for that!

So, I voted for Europe, but suggest Europe + some majors in the Middle East. For example via Istanbul or Larnaca to places like Tel Aviv, Kuwait, King Fahd International in Saudi Arabia, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Dubai (OMDB, OMDW, OMSJ, some or all of these), Tehran..... ok enough examples :D

I didn't participate last year, but I might hop in on some legs this year.
 
I have currently only euro scenery for xplane installed. On other hand i've not decided about my this year airplane... If i'll stay with smaller ones like A318 i'll be able to land almost everywhere, but i found very nice a380 model... I need my yoke back to test more airplanes, flying with keyboard and mose makes landings very hard. Nice a350 model i have, but it need 2d cockpit to be made from scratch and probably some tweaks in performance - currently it can easily make over 400KIAS under 5000ft (alt and dist).
 
It seems that Europe will make it. Where do we like to start? Homebase of ACH is EDDK - but it is not a must. Any route suggestions in advance?

I like smaller airports, with interesting approach like LOWI in central europe, or LGSK in Greece (like TNCM? Look at SKIATHOS :)
We count Greenland? Look at BGBW, also interesting approach...

About continental Tour, my-be we can fly to all European Countries that will be great .
We just need to have some agreement. Because on World Tour we have only 2 flight to end of tour. So any suggestion.

Today is 8th of April and the poll ends. We have 17 votes for Europe and 1 vote for Asia.
So the tour will take place in europe including the direct neighbors. In the moment I am very busy in my business and I ask you to make proposals for a 52 legs europe tour. Important is that the legs are not to long so that we can use smaller planes like the ATR72, DASH, B737-700 etc. I will not say that a longer leg is not possible but we should prefer the usage of smaller planes. What do you think to start in Stuttgart EDDS?

Latvia: Riga, has a great free scenery with the new apron and stands
Poland: Gdansk is very nice, with a good free scenery.
Sweden: Norrköping (ESSP) is also nice. ILS for rwy 09 is missing in std scenery.
Skellefteå (ESNS) up in the north
Austria: Salzburg
France: Nice, great approach from the north
Spain: Palma de Mallorca
Gibraltar (LXGB) with the famous street crossing of the runway. A short runway though.
Greese: Skiathos (LGSK), also a short runway
Denmark: Soervaag-Vagar/Faroe Islands (EKVG), a very difficult approach from the west. Standard scenery is great!
Scotland: Stornoway (EGPO)
Norway with great free scenerys: Trondheim (ENVA), Bodö (ENBO)

These are some of my favorites.
 
Hi pilots - please try to put your suggestions in the route, build a new route or build parts of the route new. I know about all the suggested airports but we have to build a 8) route. I do not want to build the route alone - I like you to help building one. The route above is only a proposal.
