Remove a thread and another question

Hello,

yesterday I've posted this thread ( ) to the forum and now I think, it is better placed in this section. So, if anyone is able to remove it, please do so.

In additon to the question from the thread linked above I have another question.

In the pilots rooster on the right side there are little colored circles. I cant find an explanation to these little signs in the pilots manual. Maybe someone here can give me a short descreption of them.

Thanks a lot.

Enjoy your next flight and happy landing

Oliver

Hi Oliver,

If you mouse over the little symbols, you will get a little popup message.

Basically it is your airchild status, whether you are active or not.

Green = active (you are making flights and reporting them)

Blue = Paused (means you have gone on vacation or won't be flying for a while, and have requested your status to be paused so you are not removed for not reporting a flight)

Yellow = Overdue (means you have not reported a flight within the specified time, and if you don't report one soon, you will be permanently removed from the roster)

Red - Probation (when you first join, you must file a report within a time period, or you are removed again)

I don't recall the exact amount of days, so someone can help me out with that

I notice you are still red, but have filed a report, that is probably due to no flight time showing in the report, which Peter will sort out and correct :)

Hello Andrew

Thanks for your answer. :)

I supossed, that the symbol had that meaning you describe - simply the number of days is the problem that reminds now. But let us see, if anybody else will know.

Always happy landings and good weather

Oliver

ok, you start red when you join, and if you don't report a fight within 15days, you are removed. if you do report a flight you turn green - active.
when you are active, you have 60 days to report a flight or you turn orange and are at risk of being removed.

full details are in the terms of service that all pilots agree to when signing up. :)

It's 15 days from registration to first flight, and 60 days for all following reports.
Anyway, we don't take that extremely strict, at the moment. It's not automated, and probably won't be for a while, because we realized it's better to have a list with "critical" pilots and then select who's to be kicked and who not, instead of letting a stupid program do the job. It's a difference if you kick someone with 50 flights who just forgot to send a vacation notice, or someone who did only 1 flight 3 months ago.

Yep, see my other post. There was some transmission problem, obviously. Pilot record is fixed.

about right - just that it's GREY and not RED

I think you need to check your number codes Mr, as there is defiantly more red in it :p

I'm sure you know, to have grey, the red green and blue all have to be the same number.

On a 5x5 point sample of the box, there is more red and green in the box and less blue, so it can't possibly be grey

 :champ:

Agreed, smartass!! :p But "more" doesn't mean you can call it "red"
I'd say it's a violet grey ... maybe even a violent grey....

Now go and get that [speech] tag to work
