Daten für eine moving map europe

Liebe AirChild Piloten,

für einen Freund in den USA suchen ich eine Database auf deren Daten sich eine Moving Map für Europa herstellen lässt. Was er genau braucht hat er mir im folgenden beschrieben:

---

Getting the data is half the battle. Perhaps Europe has their own aviation administration that compiles this data, similar to the FAA in the US…

I use the following data for US navigation

http://naco.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=na...ts/digital/nfd

If possible, the dataset should be modeled to the Airlines Electronic Engineering Committee (AEEC) Aeronautical Radio Incorporated (ARINC) Navigation System Data Base (NDB) international standard (ARINC 424).

---

Wenn da wer weiterweiss bitte ich dies mich wissen zu lassen.

Liebe Grüsse Tom

hi Tom, and sorry I didn't reply to your mail on that subject. I really forgot to.
I will reply in English, so others can read what it's about and maybe give more and better information.

If I understood correctly, that guy is looking for a complete source of navigational data like the one used for monthly AIRAC cycles. For MSFS users these AIRAC updates are provided by Navigraph and Richard Stefan on a commercial basis since 2006. Before, Richard offered the updates as a free service, based on the NGA DAFIF data which was publicly available until then. In 2006 the NGA stopped the free distribution. More info and why it was closed for public access here:

btw: The link in your post is broken but I suppose this is the source your friend is using:

This is the National Flight Data, a subset of the DAFIF for the US. As you can see on their page it is no longer free but costs like $190/year.

Same for european sources. The worldwide data source of Navigraph comes from the European Aeronautical Group - now incorporated to Navtech: It complies to ARINC424 standard and it costs money - don't know how much.
As far as I know there is no free data source available anywhere that would be regularly updated. I remember that Richard Stefan once spoke of an alternative source with 6 months old data that would be free. You can always try to contact him through www.navdata.at and ask him directly.

Hope that helps. And if totally wrong, please someone correct me.
