LGAV HUB inspection - May 9, 13:00 UTC

Hi all,

please feel invited to join our next scheduled inspection: LGAV, on Sunday, May 19th, at 13:00 UTC, as planned.

This time I'd like to suggest a short hop together from LTBA (Ataturk), 300 miles, which should offer a mixture of overland, Mediterranean and archipelagos views.

Sceneries:
LTBA: www.flightsim.com, search for ltba2008.zip and fixes: LTBAAFCX.ZIP, LTBATEXX.ZIP (links provided once you find ltba2008.zip) - freeware
LGAV: http://www.avsim.com/greece/scenery/index_main.htm (excellent HSP scenery, works with AES) - freeware. Also, you can download the Greek mesh and terrain improvements from there, which make the views of the Greek islands and terrain much more realistic end enjoyable for pilot's eye. Installation requires a bit of manual combination with FS scenery files).

That's where I started from... It is working (at least on two computers that I checked). You need to find LGAV on the right top corner menu. :)
 
BTW. What wit current real ATC "not"-coverage above greece? They suspended at least APP/TWR and below positions during last events in country...

I will probably NOT fly this event. I may be on TS.

Recently one of mine monitors burned, so i lack of main instrument panel in my cockpit. I'm currently under development of alternate monitor for that thing. Luckly have something in spare parts, but i'm not yet sure if that will work - still need signal cable tough.

On other hand my deadline for next pirep is coming, so probably i'll fly something short on single monitor with default panel, single monitor setup and C130/L100 (or something simmilar, small and easy to fly) to not mess with all cockpit configurations.

Then next few weeks of hard studies work at end of semester, exam season is comin.

Szymon, don`t stress you. This is a hobby. Just send us an E-Mail that you can`t fly in the next time and nothing will happen. ;)

I`m sorry guys. As I have to leave my home at 11:00 UTC, I`m just flying the HUB inspection tour right now. When at the gate, I will have a look at the Air-Child lounge at LGAV and will prepair the lounge with champagne and beer for you. :cheers: :lol:
 
Shit happens - due to real road traffic I was unable to reach home before 15:00 UTC today :envy: :-x :envy: . Anyway, I'll get myself behind the your to LGAV ASAP...
