The time has come to visit KJFK - a shame not to be there ;)

Therefore please feel invited to fly to KJFK as a part of our regulat hub inspection.
This will take place this Sunday May 30th, starting around 13.00 UTC, and the proposed route is:

CYYZ - KJFK (350 miles).

BULGE V252 GEE HNK J522 IGN

which will let us visit Toronto, fly over the watery boarder of Candada and US, and land safely in one of the most well-known airports in the world.

Look for the charts at:
CYYZ -
KJFK - - charts and useful info.

Now the sceneries:

CYYZ FS2004 - - (not tested) -carefull - the page also may contain links to sceneries which may not be legal to download, however, the CYZZ scenery has been previously published at vatsim.net (unavailable now, after the infamous hacker attack) and is free.
KJFK -

There are also payware sceneries for KJFK, by FS DreamTeam, both for FS2004 and FSX -

Ok, that's all from me now, more at Teamspeak during the flight!

And again I enjoyed the inspection on my own.

But it was a nice short haul, with good wather and ATC completely incomrehensible. 150 words per minute, every 10th understood.

Here are some pics: (click to enlarge)

The fun was after landing - most of my cloud 9 KJFK scenery went missing! It was great to see the light rail rolling in mid air and ... no buildings.

:hi:

Not quite :p Though yes alone online.

I have just arrived and heading towards the bar now to check out that area first :D (I assume that is where I will find you)

I once again made a stupid error
Total Fuel: 5080 kg
Fuel Used: 1119 kg
Taxi Fuel: 64 kg
Remaining Fuel: 3961 kg

I forgot to load fuel before flying  which means I set off with full tanks, so ended up landing rather heavy :envy:

Must have been a heavy flight for you Andrew

I am still at the bar, but they are closing now. Where are you? :'(

I only realised once I was rolling down runway for takeoff, wondering why my speed was increasing so slowly

This airport is so huge, I've been in 12 bars so far, and still not found you :(

Well...erm... there will be a slight delay while there is still a bar open, then I will see how much change I have left over :D

Sorry guys i intended to fly the hub inspection and the Seychelles invite but something came up and i was unable to make either :(

Steve

Excuses, excuses .... ;) Yes, I know, sometimes I am unable to fly those, too.

But wait till I get you under my control - expect g/a on finals, taxi instructions to the farthest stand, long stanby for clearance, lenghty instructions and detailed readback required

Rafal,
you obviosuly havent experience the experienced pilot with "difficult controllers"... :p :p :p

Controller issues "strange, crazy commands to pilot"... Pilot just tunes XPONDER to 7600 and continues to last know point of clearances and executes a LOSTCOMM Landing as published...

Controller gets WIDE EYES and reconsiders giving "strange and crazy instructions" 8)

PS: Check your Six

Norbert,

instructions won't be crazy - all by the book - Italian Strike Type - they'll just be strenuous

I've had those too, even without being nasty ;) :D. Makes you feel they just don't need you there, so why do we bother?

:hi:

Unfortunately I could not take part in this inspection
Instead, I had to give takeoff clearance to my family departing towards Calgary from FRA :)
