Flights starting from the last destination?

Hey, not sure if I'm posting this questions in the right subforum, sorry if I'm wrong. :)
I have read in the manual that for advanced and professional career (mine is professional) you have to start your flight from the airport that the plane used had landed last time. Is that an accurate information?
I'm asking because I've been flying all over Europe last couple of days (just swapping plane registrations) and I haven't been able to see that restriction in game. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Cheers

not quite, Milan. Things are more complicated - or less, depending on your point of view ;)

In advanced mode, when you go to the flight search, you will only see those flights for which an aircraft is available. It will look like this:

Except the one with the "booked" mark on the right, all these flights can be booked by you. So, even if your last flight took you to Athens, you can continue from Manchester.
We didn't want too much restrictions. If you want to play it real, just discipline yourself and look for a flight from Athens (in the above example).

If you are lucky you can chose from several aircraft available there. In the example above, only SX-EKL wold be available. There are other aircraft at Athens but they're all booked.

Now, imagine you arrived in Athens yesterday and want to continue today, but you forgot to book your plane for today. Suppose all aircraft are already taken, including the one with which you arrived. Result: there's nothing you can fly with ;)
But: you can fancy a "blind" shuttle flight to Manchester (some VA's simulate even the deadheads; we don't - it's silly) and then continue your job from there. No cheating, everyone's happy :)

Edit: I just noticed in the picture there's also a flight to EGCC available
Ruins my example .... just ignore it! :p

I am trying to understand I set advanced career my last flight end up to EHAM after reading this topic I understand that i need I jumpseat to an airport to catchup the ATR but which one.
Sorry, I feel little dude.
Thank you
Fabrizio

In advanced, you can depart from any airport that has an Aircraft parked at it. You don't need to fly from where you land, or request a jump seat ride to an alternative airport.
