I haven't done flights since February this year, but I am now proud to say I have finished my home made overhead panel :D

i made all panels and annunciators myself (hence the somewhat rough look ;-) Switches, guards and electronics were bought on ebay. Total cost about €150, but a lot of hours went into it.

Glad to be back to flying again. Did two test flights yesterday and all worked fine.

Congratulation. The Overheadpanel is really great
How much time do you have worked on it???

I started working on it in February this year. I have been working on it on and off, but if I would have had the time it probably took 3 weeks to complete.

Yes it looks great. And all for 150€! If you are going to the shop, you have to pay for a overheadpanel a minimum of 3.000,-€ and much moooooooore ;)

WOW, Jeroen, that looks a-w-e-s-o-m-e !!
Never thought it would look THAT good

Just a question about the canvas in the background: did you pick one of Astrid's paintings to serve as projection canvas for your beamer ....??

Haha  . Storage Peter, storage. My room is used for paintings that are too big to fit anywhere else in our house, as you can imagine.

Hello Jeroen!

I'm without voice  looking your incredible home cockpit.
Congratulations, it is wonderfull.
Could you built the same for me?

Cheers
Pierre

@ Pierre and Rafal.... OMG That would mean another year building and not flying ;-) Sorry lads, you will have to build one yourself. I can give some tips and advise though ;-)

But to be honest, I am bitten by the cockpit builders bug. The next project is already in my head. A nice 737 throttle, and some panels for the pedestal. I am still putting of the MIP, because I don't have the proper monitors behind it. They're old CRT's but you really need flat panels. I am trying to get them somewhere cheap and second hand, but no luck so far. Oh yeah and the landing gear lever and.....

Well first I will accumulate some hours. Try to be there this Sunday for the HUB inspection into Copenhagen
