Setting your donation base and limit per month

Hi,

The charity program webpage says:
...You tell us the base, we calculate the total. Every three months we will send you an e-mail, showing the total number of flights during this period and the total amount of money you will have to send to UNICEF.
...also...
..."and how can I make sure it's not going to cost me thousands of euros each month?" Simple, too: just set a limit.
So, how/where do I set this base and limit..? Apologies apologies apologies if I've missed the explanation!

Finally,
Every three months we will send you an e-mail, showing the total number of flights during this period and the total amount of money you will have to send to UNICEF.
I'm guessing the email will include instructions as to how/where to deposit the money (presumably via the UNICEF website) and, most importantly, mark it as on behalf of Air-Child..? Again, apologies apologies apologies if I've missed the obvious.

Great VA with a great idea,
David

Hi David, and welcome to Air-Child ;)

Well ... maybe you missed the part where it says:
Although one major purpose of our airline is to generate money for UNICEF (that is: as much money as possible!), we decided not to charge any of our members. Instead we would like to invite everyone, especially companies of any description, to take part in this charity program.
So, as a pilot you are not expected to make any donations. Of course you may do so, on a voluntary basis, if you wish. Either with or without Air-Child being involved. If you like to donate on a regular basis as a private sponsor of Air-Child (again: we don't want to talk you into this) you best contact us via email at info[ at ]air-child.com and we'll send you more details.

Currently, Air-Child (more precisely: UNICEF) is supported by the partners you can see on the right side of many web pages. They are the ones who donate to UNICEF, depending on how many flights have been made by ACH pilots, and they are the ones who get a flight summary every 3 months.

Hope this answers your questions.
:fly: Happy landings!

Peter

Hi Peter,

Sorry to've misunderstood:

Understood. In that case, I'll send an email to "info" as I'd like to make my own small contributions per flight -- that's what I had in mind when I discovered and then joined Air-Child.

Thanks for your reply and welcome!

David
