There is a new model of the A320-232 made by Quality Park. This plane is plugin driven and simulates a lot of systems very precisely:
As part of QPAC's R&D activities, we have implemented a highly realistic add-on for the flight simulation X-Plane 9, simulating the Airbus A320 aircraft.
The simulation includes a detailled simulation of the Airbus flight controls and autoflight functions, including:
Fly-by-wire normal law giving a realistic aircraft response to control inputs including flight envelope protection.
Auto Pilot Flight Control Unit (FCU): All features of the real FCU are realistically simulated
Auto flight system in accordance to Airbus logic, including ILS-Autoland and automatic roll-out in.

The simulation furthermore comprises simulation of the following aircraft systems:
a simplified system simulation for Bleed (ATA36) and Air Conditioning (ATA21).
Complete simulation of the hydraulics (ATA29). Control surface movements, as well as landing gear features depend correctly on the availability of the associated hydraulic ciruits.
Electrics system simulation (ATA24): Automatic and manual bus reconfiguration according to real-life aircraft logics. Cockpit instrumentation and lights only work if the associated busses are powered. Same for the Flight Control Computers.
Complete simulation of the Fuel System (ATA28) including the automatic sequencing of the fuel use in the different tanks, the possibility for fuel cross feeding etc.
Simulation of the Landing Gear System (ATA32) giving a more realistic autobrake behaviour and making gear features dependent on the availability of the respective control units and the hydraulic pressure.
Other features of the aircraft are:
Enhanced X-Plane flight management
Widescreen cockpit including full Overhead panel and possibility to fly from the Captain's or the Copilot's side.
A detailled 3D exterior model of the entire aircraft, including animated gears, fanblades, thrust reversers, and control surfaces.
Additional aircraft skins available on www.x-plane.org

Soon they will redo the outside 3D model till then you may use ACH livery made by Hartmut Krüger.

BTW - I hope for Norbert to bring the A380 to our fleet - the new xplane version by Peter Hager is the best xplane airliner in the moment :)

Cheers Tom
