Hi Norbert, Hi Peter, Hi Martin
as I am an xplane user - I like to speak for all xplane air-child pilots (but for shure it is still my personnel opinion). As you know we have a lack of good airliners in xplane - till now there is no plane like the PMDG 747 / 737 or the Flight1 ATR72. Most of our airliners are looking like an airliner (even payware) but they have a behaviour of a GA and the system depth is like taking a car for a spin. Just sit in turn the key and there you go. With the panel and systems of the Binter ATR72 and the Fokker 100 Hartmut and me tried to bring more system depth to those planes. But as we are no programmers we are limited to the xplane default possibllities. In no way we are able to write plugins to overwrite the xplane behaviour and the xplane systems to go close to the real one as PMDG and Flight1.
But there is a light at the end of the tunnel - Peter Hager and Qualitiy Park are working on plugin driven Airbusses. Peter Hager just updated his A380 to a plugin driven version which simulates a lot the the real systems and behaviours like the FMS (which is still not complete) and the fly by wire system. Soon Peter will implement more features and a 3D pit. This one will be the first and only xplane airliner which is able to be compared to the PMDG / Flight1. Hopefully Peter comes out with his A321 soon!
Quality Park updated the A320 to a plugin driven version with similar features (maybe a bit further).
As Peter Schindler told me that there is a good A380 available for MSFS I kindly ask for an A380 for the air-child fleet - even this is a big expensive plane air child deserves such a nice aircraft. 8)
Thnx and cheers Tom
