We have finally optimized the entire website for IE 9 - and exclusively for version 9. That doesn't mean it will not work at all in lower versions, but it may look strange in parts. It's also possible that some places like the GoogleMaps displays (flight tracking, fleet map, route net) won't work.
This was the main reason for the change. Because of the many different modes in IE, it often fell back to compatibility mode (or quirks mode). However, GoogleMaps applications do not properly display in quirks mode. So now we force IE9 mode on all pages (except the forum which only works in compatibility; don't ask me why). And finally the whole site looks the same as in Firefox and the GoogleMaps displays work as intended. In IE9, that is ... ;)

We therefore encourage all those still working with IE versions lower than 9 to update their browser.

Thank you
