Beginning of this year I purchased the x-plane as well and started to use, since all we know the development of the FSX is stopped.
So, I have many good experiences, but on the other hand it is clear the majority of the add-ons are for FSX.
At online flying for me the major issue was to find a proper scenery for the airport, navigation (maybe vasfmc) and to be honest the simplicity of the plane systems.
Anyhow, I am looking forward what the x-plane 10 will bring in our life, without any question the physic and aerodynamics of the airframes are fare better than the FSX, but on a hobby level maybe it is not the 1st priority.
So, hope, I will see many other pilots with x-plane and we can share our experiences.
