Scheduled flights question

Hello,

kinda new here, so I have this question about scheduled flights:

Do they have to be flown at the exact departure time specified ??

For instance, if there's a flight I want to do, but it's at 00:45 UTC, which is in the middle of the night for me, can I fly it in the morning for instance ?

How exactly does that work ?

Hey Mathieu,

You can fly the flight at whatever time you wish, there are no restrictions.

If the flight is for 00.45, you can set the Flight Simulator to that time if you wish to closer match the scheduled time, but if you want to do that route as an afternoon flight, then that is perfectly fine 8)

Should the departure time be the time you takeoff, or is it the time you're supposed to leave your gate ?
