Charter flights

Hi dear "Back-Office" ;-)

Since days i can't book any Charter-Flights anymore.
This morning i managed to book one from EDSB to EDDS.

Any further booking is not available.
I tested several internet explorers, but still the php-script doesn't
give me any response.

Anything i can do?
Like cookies, restart explorer etc...

Regards,
Hans-Dieter

Back-office here ... ;)

Hans-Dieter, could you give me more details, please? I just completed a couple of charter bookings, first in Firefox, then in IE9. No problems, so far.

From your post I read that you use Internet Explorer - right?
Which version? Any plug-ins active?
Anything you changed just before the problem started?
Is JavaScript working fine on other pages? (flight search, acars map etc.)
Is scheduled flight booking ok?

I don't think it's a cookie problem, btw, as long as your user session is alright.
Do you see a totally blank page, or is it the "members only" notice?

Please, try to describe in detail what you are doing - step by step, if possible.
What did you enter - which values changed? (there's a known problem with entering wrong time formats which I still haven't fixed ... but that would still give a response, only with wrong arrival time).
At what point exactly does it fail?

Thanks for your reply! (also in German if it gets too technical)

Hi Peter,
thanks alot for your quick answer.

Just tried Charter-Booking from ESSA - ESMA ....
and it worked 8)

I think i found out, what causes the problem with my booking.

As most of the time, the problem with Information Technology System is sitting infront of it

Cause i wasn't sure what to enter in the field "ALTERN AIRPORT" i put "????" in there. Not keeping in mind, that the scripting in the booking system will have to look up for the destination "????".

:hi: so, i'm fine again with the charter-booking ...

ps: using firefox

I see. Yes, computer programs don't like ????? very much
This wouldn't happen if your programmer was not as lazy as he is .... ;)
Thanks for reporting, anyway!
