E-Jets 175/195

Hello everyone!

I joined air-child just two days ago, and there is one problem. Your fleet consists only 170/190, but I have a payware (Feelthere) version which has only 175/195 versions.

I think this isn't a big problem overall, but the repaint for E190 won't work with 195, because it is two meters longer. Is there any solution, like creating new repaint?

It would be really unpleasant to be unable to fly in the colors of Air-Child :(

Hi Marcus, welcome aboard! :hi:

The 2 meters difference in length shouldn't be a problem for the paint if Feelthere had simply stretched their 3D model. Their E-Jets exist in two versions: 170/190 as the older version and 175/195 being the latest release. Obviously they designed a completely new model for the new version. In that case, even if V2.2 had been the same aircraft variants, repaints for older versions would not be compatible.

I suppose the reason for the 175/195 variant is pure business because the technical differences are really minor, compared to the slightly shorter jets. A new release of the 170/190 would have to be considered as a simple update, while a new variant can be sold as a new product ...

Well, the only solution would be a new repaint, as you say. Someone having the new version would have to do it. I only have the 190/170 models and don't intend to "upgrade".

Volunteers? Anyone?

Really no volunteers? :(
The last 3 years have shown that aircraft painting is not extremely popular among most of our members  Also maybe not many have those new E-Jets yet.

If you find the paint kit for these models, send it to peter[ at ]air-child.com. I'll have a look and see how much it differs from the older version. No guarantees, though.
Or maybe Andrew will take a look - if I send him pizza & beer .... :p

Will that come packaged with the fs9 pmdg 737 psd files? ;)

Awaits a reply of 'oh I forgot', followed by some work excuse  :D

Here's a link where you can download the paint kit :)

I currently fly the the E-Jets using house colors. This is for the feelThere E-Jets right? These are my favorite planes.

I can paint for you people but only for the FSX version. I will need the following from previous painters:
1) Air child logos
2) Color palet templates.

Jayson, you can find the basic stuff in this file:

A link to that file is also on the intro page of "repaints", although somewhat hidden ;)

Ah thanks. I was wondering where that is. Anyway it may take some time based on my schedule.

Enter repaints page in hagnar. There on blue background is text about repaints with link to paintkit with fonts...

Here is a preview of the E195. This is a modification of Matej's E190 livery. So I'm waiting for his permission to share to the community. ;) Take note that I don't plan on doing the E175 though. :S

There are no E175's in our fleet anyway ;)

You said earlier, that this repaint is for FSX only. Does it require lots of converting to make it work with FS9 too, or is it a simple task?

Matej still hasn't replied to the PM I sent. Last visited the forums in Oct. :(

As for FS2004, we just have to find out what it looks like. ;)
