Boeing 787-8/9

I just noticed that QualityWings is creating a very nice looking model of the Dreamliner.

Personally, I would want to master a larger, widebody-plane, but currently it's quite hard. After getting used to a very modern plane like Embraer 195, Boeing 757/767/777 seems to be quite outdated.

The Dreamliner would totally change this, as we all know that it is the most modern (obviously, since first deliveries occurred in 2011) aircraft on the skies. And with that marvelous creation of QualityWings, I truly hope that the 787 will be added into our fleet.

Here's a link to the QW's thread;

Opinions?

Sorry Markus, but I think QW Sims make not good Add On´s. The 757 its a Joke... :x

What I cannot understand is, that everybody I asked about the 757 told me, how wonderfull this aircraft should be.

A friend from another VA has taken the chance to test all 757, that are available on the market and he comes to the same result as Frank.

I think, there is a reason, why they add the slogan 'complexity simplified' in their brand.

Its true that the only good thing about QW's 757 is that it looks really awesome. But the systems are made for beginners or some medium-skilled pilots. Nothing extraordinary for "expert" pilots, who use all the systems.

But QualityWings said in that forum, that 787 will be much better in that sequence. I will buy the Dreamliner when it comes out, and test it. If it is worth flying, then I hope that it will be added to our fleet.

Same with the xplane dreamliner payware. Looks very nice from the outside but the systems are in no way a mirror of the real thing. It is not more like any default plane of xplane9. It is simple like an GA. I bet the default 747 from xp10 has more system depth. There is no approach to enhance the model with a plugin - it is just a default plane. If you want a toy and to watch it from the outside buy it if you want a simulation don't.
