Hi Chris,

I noticed the website is back up again after having been down for a couple of days (received 502 answers from nginx since Friday evening). Could you tell us what was behind?

Sorry meant to post something here yesterday.

I actually had no clue it was offline until Bernd Mehl informed me of it being down.

I have implemented an automated system to check it is up and running every 10 minutes

Apparently the server it is hosted on restarted due to updates being installed and found an error in the configuration file and aborted the start of the http daemon.

The configuration file error has been fixed and the server restarted.

We should be fine from now on.

Yes, I noticed it too. I got a bad gateway error for about 3 days. I thought it was for working on the site or something. I didn't have your e-mail address at hand because I always use the site itself for that(a bit of chicken and egg)...

So, now Ryanair isn't the only airline having to deal with stranded passengers . Maybe we also get a bonus salary for solving it... :lol:
