B727 series?

Any chance in adding 727-200 to our hangar? The new FSJ 727 series for Xplane 10 is really superb and I see can myself flying 727 a lot in the near future :)

What in general is the process of adding an aircraft into our hangar?

Hi Jan,
go and use it in charter instead of another comparable airplane, maybe the MD8081. Calculate fuel and speeds and have fun - there is no actual need to add this new xplane model for using it with Air Child. 8)
As me or Hartmut do not have this model (yet) we cannot provide a livery for that plane, not yet. :'(
Cheers and nice XMAS Tom

Hi Tom,

I will do as advised, MD80 is probably best match. Fuel and speeds can certainly be calculated by myself.
To have ACH livery at some point in the (near) future will be fantastic. It is such a great plane.
Enjoy holidays and Merry Christmas to you too.

Cheers, Jan

Tom,

I am a little confused here in terms of the B727. I have noticed there are aircraft skins available for the B727, however, I don't see the airplane as part of the fleet. How do I go about flying a scheduled flight with the B727?

The B777 is somewhat confusing to me to. I see that aircraft available for charter flights, however, I don't see the aircraft as part of the fleet. And I don't think there are any skins available for it.

Thank you, sir.

The B777 is in the ACH-fleet (see hangar - fleet overview), but we do not have any X-Plane livery (repaint) for this one in the Hangar.

The B727 is not yet in the ACH-fleet, but you can fly it replacing another similar aircraft. We have a X-Plane livery (repaint) for this one, just like for many other aircrafts not yet in the ACH-fleet (see also the thread "X-Plane secrets" when you have more than 50 hours flying for Air-Child).

Saludos,

That also has to do with the age of the 727; although ACH is fictional it represents a modern airline. Today the 727 is only used by some small airlines in Africa. It now mainly belongs in a museum. It's a very nice aircraft, especially the Captain Sim version is very nice. I would advice to use 737-700 or A320 flights for it and adjust the fuel consumption(a lot probably ;) )

Ricardo/Barthe,

Thank you for your replies; I understand now what the position on B727 is.

...looking forward to flying the great aircraft for ACH.

See you guys in the sky.
