planes in charter erea so the pilots can select huge range of planes...
I would love to see Cernado Cessna 206 ..for some small tours around Japan and Ex-Yugoslavia....
Also Crj-200 and B727
And the most crazy idea is I would love to see.....Hm.... :fly: 1 fighter repainted for patroling the sky purpose....While L-100 E is on the havy mission ....So two pilots or more could fly it in formation....Short trip only ,but fun would be immense.....

Incredible, how could anyone ever even possibly suggest a fighter aircraft be brought in for a VA related to the well-being of children. I am so disappointed it is not true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+1 :'(

Matej, please have a look at the Unicef news on our home page. That's only a small part of daily news about military conflicts in the world which aren't virtual, but sadly real, and cause death, hunger and pain to millions of people each year. I know, the world will not change a bit whether a small VA decides to use or not use a fighter in its fleet, but for me, at least, it's a question of ethics. And that is one of many reasons not to have a fighter. Apart from being a virtual civilian airline with a claim for realism, and I don't know of any airline that would be allowed to use fighters. Fortunately!

About the Cessna 206, there's still the project to have two additional VA departments, one for shuttle/commuter flights and one for bush flying. This will take time to implement, though. See also this thread: http://www.air-child.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=342&p=1715&hilit=bush+flying#p1715

Maybe this thread should get deleted. I know if I were Matej my gut would wrench every time I saw it.

Everybody speaks without thinking sometimes, makes goofs (or is it gooves?) and then feel rubbish about it later when they realise it was dumb.

Here, Matej, let me salve your conscience

Paz, dudes.

First, and as I was talking about conflicts earlier, I don't think that any conflict can be solved by switching off the radio or burning the newspaper. That's why we prefer to discuss things, rather than delete them ;)

Second, I think I have made my opinion on military equipment clear in the above post, but I don't think that Matej should be bashed now, just for making such a suggestion. While some people take flight simulation very serious and look at it as a mirror of the real world (which it isn't), others might see nothing more in it than just a game (which it probably isn't either) with no relation to real world.

As a community we will always see different opinions and will always have to find a common way how we would like our VA to be. And this thread does clearly show one simple fact for the majority of Air-Child pilots: we don't want no fighters ;)
Apart from this, I'd say let's stick to the golden rule , that says "respect each other".

ps: this post is also officially supported by Mr. Norbert Woeller whom I just had on the phone

I dont think that military presense means war or terror....HM....

I really agree with you there... I am, after all, a World Service kinda guy. ;)

Just wanted to save our premier painting guru-Meister any embarrassment in the future.

Cheers guys.
