Hello,

it would be nice for me to know which software is running below Airchild VA. I haven't found any reference about it.

Bye and thanks

So, is not based on any freeware/commercial vms (such phpVMS or the like)?

I am thinking in new options and missions for the pilots in ACH, and it would be nice to know if these would be easily implemented or a hard work. :?

Bye

Hi, thanks for that suggestion. I've , that's quite interesting.

phpVMS uses both php and mySQL so my answer wouldn't exclude that. But you'll have to wait for the definitive answer by someone who's involved in the programming process.

It's probably hard work anyway, regardless of the software used. Making and maintaining a usable game is not easy and it starts with getting the whole team to agree with certain new features.

New features inherently introduce new bugs and flaws that have to be ironed out.

Eh! ... wait, wait, ... I don't saying anything. I don't want to change anything here (I am very new), I only have some ideas about new missions and services and knowing which drives ACH would helpful to me, given the case, to try to explain it to the staff.

If you don't know what my ideas are about, so how can be hard work?

Bye

Yes, that's what I understood in the first place. You're free to make suggestions for features anyway.

I just answered your question based on my knowledge and experience with software development.

I'm just saying that any change to a working software product with many users and various people involved in decision making and development is a lot of work.

The "people" part is much more work than the software part in most projects except when doing some personal hacking(although I have to admit I can never agree with myself :wall: ).
