Sneak Peek

The new AIRAC is out (I love it every month :x ) and I have made a little change for our route tonight. Airway L996 isn't longer in use for flightlevels higher then FL280. So this is our route for tonight:

GOTUR/N0450F280 L996 INRER M44 SALLO UM44 KOGIM UM725 RODEP T208 GOLBO

That means we have to climb to FL280 till we reached the waypiont INRER, after that we can climb to our cruise flightlevel.

Tried an alternative, because it makes no sense to climb above 280 from INRER (about 180Nm to GOLBO only)

Entered:

(FPL-ACH001-IS-B737/M-SDEHPRWXY/S-ENGM1130-N0433F340 TRF UP615 AAL/M79F370 UM725 RODEP T208 GOLBO-EDDT0115 EDDV

Response:

ROUTE140: UP615 IS FOLLOWED BY AAL WHICH IS NOT ONE OF ITS POINTS
ROUTE139: UM725 IS PRECEDED BY AAL WHICH IS NOT ONE OF ITS POINTS

WHAT ?! Aalborg is not a part of 615/725 ?

GOTUR UL996 AKIBA L996 INRER M44 SALLO UM44 KOGIM UM725 RODEP T208 GOLBO

Vroute won't accept it, but the Eurocontrol validator does

So it should be fine.

Tomasz, your route is probably wrong because Denmark and Sweden recently changed all their routes, removing the leading U. So AAL is part of the P615 and M725, but UP615 and UM725 don't exist anymore (in Denmark)

For the Fokker fliers, a quick Santa repaint for the Fokker 100:

As I'm the Assistant Event Cordinator in vACCSCA, I would like to hear feedback from you about the ATCs in Norway and so on! :)

It was great to see so many of you in the air!. Unfortunately, exactly the same thing as last year happened to me - 40 miles from ENGM FS hang up. I restarted all the stuff, re-started the computer, and ... the same thing, this time 47 miles after departure. Must be some sort of scenery problem....

Anyway I hope you had a lot of fun!

Yeah, It was funny till my FS were crashed. Rafal, Your FS were crashed at the begining, my crashed after dropped packages, when I were established to land. But it was amazing. It's great to see 8-10 ACH on the air. Thanks Everyone.
And for the Christmas time I'm dedicating to all of You.....

Well, Rafal, if it's any consolation, my flight wasn't as straightforward as I'd hoped -- it wasn't FSX packing up on me, but my turboprop's starboard engine!

I was en route to SALLO and normally would've diverted immediately, but -- since the 5,800 kg cargo onboard was for VIPs -- I decided to soldier on as far as Tempelhof. As the flight on one engine would now take longer, I found and ran my screenshot program and took a few pictures for the sake of a record. Once I've worked out where and how to upload them somewhere, I'll add some links. (Any suggestions where?)

Certainly some fun of the "Oh-no-let's-try-to-handle-this-and-leave-the-cockpit-smiling" variety..!

Thanks for organising,
David

First of all thank you very much Tomasz and Rafal for organicing this event. It was great to see so many ACH pilots and it was a nice experience to take a low approach over RWY 27 at Berlin Tempelhof (EDDI) I never have done that before. Shur, I have made some Go Arounds in the past, but that was never planed... ;)
To fly in such a low altitute about an airport with the intention to do that, was a nice feeling.

Many thanks to all people who organized the event, and all pilots and controllers

First of all thank you for participation in this event. In fact, I've never seen so many ACH's on a one AWY. :)

Furthermore seeing the wave that follow the annual, as Sophie says: "same procedure as every year" - Rovaniemi (there are things in the world that become boring :) )

Unfortunately, it was too busy evening outside the cockpit for me. I had no time for TS and after landing had to quickly disconnect, but despite this it was really interesting and intense flight - with regards to all ATC - fantastic service ;)

Dear Santa, task completed !

Yes the first flight of the air-child A380-841 was the xmas flight to deliver 145.000lb of presents to the childs of Berlin. Cause I forgot to make some pics of the A380 over Berlin - I did the Low Approach RW27L EDDI and the Landing on RW26R EDDT again to shoot some pics.
Thnx to Norbert and Peter to bring this bird to the fleet, where it will available after a time of testing and comparing performance data. And thnx to Hartmut (who else) who made this nice air-child liverie for the xplane A380 by Peter Hager. As a little "thank you Hartmut" Norbert decided to call this plane "Hartmut Krueger" Thnx Norbert - I like that.
Cheers Tom
