Monthly Group Flight

Hello Petr

I was talking about route for the 1st leg from Koln to Warsaw. I've found 3 possible routes for this leg. So I was curious what are we going to do.

Rafal, I believe I was looking at the same routes your talking about on vat route . Wouldn't it depend on what flt level you fly? I've never done a group flt before .
 
Which Route you want to fly is on your own. If someone want to present a valid route please do it.
As far as I know there was no change of Teamspeak.

Hm, the only one who can fix it is Peter as I know, or maybe Andrew. Peter is not available today. So I guess no TS today. Let us log in to Vatsim.

I have open a Chanel on our TS3 server in the pilot section should be public: ts.vacc.ch
Edit: we are in the root chanel because the Pilot section is not open for visitors.

Thnx to all the pilots who did the first leg of the world tour 2013/14. ACH1080, ACH7715, ACH7717, ACH1219 and ACH7632 arrived safely and in time in EPWA. We had luck to get live ATC for EPWA aproach an Tower. Thnx for this to the controller.
Whoever was not able to fly this leg today - as you know you now can choose any day you want. Please invite any ACH pilot to fly this leg with you.
I hope Peter will fix TS soon. But we have to be patient cause the server is moving to another machine, which brings indeed some complications.

@Andrew do you think it is possible to to open a special World Tour 2013/14 Meeting Point threat where pilots can look for other pilots for flying the leg together. It should be accessible direkt from the main page with an instant mailing when somebody answered in this threat?

I suggest we should alter our destinations a bit. Instead of Amsterdam to Manchester I suggest Leeds Bradford as destination. There is a brand-new nice scenery from UK2000 and (now comes the important part) landing can be very challenging cause the wind is mostly crosswind and sometimes quite high. What I read is that the wind comes never straight - if there is wind - it will be crosswind. Look for youtube videos.
We could add GRIBALTAR UK/Spain and TONCONTIN Honduras as well. And maybe KAITAK instead of VHHH - we could open KAITAK for this World Tour Event - although it is closed since years.
Only suggestions - only suggestions!

Exactly for this we thought it might be better if the group flight event changes to a World Tour Event with an open timing. Of course it is nice to do a group flight - but now you are able to invite other ACH pilots from your timezone for a group flight in your timezone. If we want to have live ATC we have to follow the ATC times in the recent timezone - but it is not necessary.
I think we will open a threat for World Tour 2013/14 appointments. I thought about a mailing list - but then we thought a forum threat with an instant mail notification to the members will do it.

I myself I am not able to fly the next leg on the next friday or saturday, so I will look for other pilots for thursday 28.3.2011 evening 19:00 UTC.

I think it was all good I was just call in for whole Saturday and Sunday that's all . I will probably fly it today soon as I have downloaded Poland scenery . Thanks Petr
 
I will try to fly my leg from EDDK to EPWA tomorrow evening at about 19:00 UTC. Everyone else?

Hatte jetzt gefühlt das 1.000 mal einen FSX-Aufhänger bei einem DCT.
Muss das mal in Ruhe überprüfen.
Hoffe du hattes eine gute Landung.
